National Demolition Association Prepares for 35th Anniversary Convention

The National Demolition Association expects to exceed exhibitor and attendee records at its 35^th Annual Convention, which will be Feb. 24-27 in Las Vegas.

The association has already booked nearly all of the 90,000-square-foot Mirage Event Center, according to Michael R. Taylor, the association’s executive director. In addition, the show’s NASCAR theme, with keynote speaker NASCAR driver Kyle Petty, is drawing in many first-time attendees to the convention, organizers say.

An offer of a free delegate registration worth $650 to any new or existing member company that has never attended a convention before is helping grow the rolls of show attendees, Taylor adds. The free registration covers both the attendee and spouse and includes the cost for all speakers, seminars, the gala cocktail reception, the Monday night NASCAR theme party and the annual banquet. “We’re getting a tremendous response to this offer,” Taylor says.
