National Association Supply Cooperative (NASCO-OP), New Philadelphia, Ohio, has declared a 0.8 percent patronage dividend for fiscal year 2023, Assistant Manager Michael Morrison has announced. This dividend, based on the purchases made by members or associates at the cooperative, serves to further lower the effective purchase price of supplies and equipment purchased through NASCO-OP.
The cooperative says it experienced a strong start to 2023, with notable sales momentum and an optimistic market outlook. However, as the year progressed, the weakening of scrap markets led to a decrease in member purchases.
NASCO-OP says it is looking toward the future by making key investments in personnel, including increasing its number of product managers and adding a new controller. Additionally, a management transition is taking place.
NASCO-OP is open to members of the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries (ISRI), Canadian Association of Recycling Industries (CARI), Automotive Recyclers Association (ARA) and National Demolition Association (NDA).
More information on NASCO-OP can be found here or by calling 800-321-3396.
