A Woodbury, N.Y., man has pleaded guilty to a charge of illegal dumping, according to a report in the Long Island Times.
Nassau County N.Y. District Attorney Denis Dillon tells the paper that Arias G. Schwartz, 33, unlawfully disposed of approximately 850 cubic yards of construction and demolition debris and fill into a basin adjacent to his property.
The charge was Unlawful Release of Solid Waste to the Environment—an Environmental Conservation Law Class A misdemeanor, according to the report.
