Mustang Manufacturing Co.,
Mustang models MTL16, MTL20 and MTL25 have been revised to become models MTL316, MTL320 and MTL325. The machines have been updated to meet Tier III engine emissions regulations and have undergone other product improvements, according to the company. A fourth Mustang track loader, model MTL312 (announced in March 2008), brings the total number of track loader units in the compact equipment manufacturer's product line to four.
The upgraded models' high-powered, Tier III EPA-certified engines are designed to meet emissions standards. Horsepower has been increased and now ranges from 66 to 92 horsepower and ground speeds can now go up to 7.5 mph.
Other improvements include a new standard foot throttle and an improved control handle design with additional switches. Standard proportional auxiliary hydraulics, controlled by a thumb switch, replaces the former foot-pedal control design. Models MTL320 and MTL325 are available with a high-flow option (36 gpm on MTL320, 40 gpm on MTL325).
