Mustang Manufacturing Co. Inc., Owatonna, Minn., has introduced a new telescopic handler to its product line—the model 842.
The four-story machine has a 42-foot lift height and its addition brings the total of 8,000-pound machines in Mustang’s product line to two.
The new unit shares a boom design with the larger Mustang Deluxe Series of telehandlers, models 944 and 1155. It also has pilot-operated joystick controls, a tilt cylinder and an optional work platform system.
The 842 also has a rear-axle stabilizer cylinder that gives operators a stable four-point stance when the boom is raised over 60 degrees, a ROPS/FOPS canopy with increased room for the operator and axles with internal wet disc breaks that dissipate heat more efficiently to help increase the service life of the breaks.
