Munich Hosts Bauma 2007 in April

Machinery show billed as “the largest trade show in the world.”

The 28th Bauma show, formally known as the International Trade Fair for Construction Machinery, Building Material Machines, Mining Machines, Construction Vehicles and Construction Equipment, has been scheduled for April 23-29 in Munich, Germany.

 

The Bauma show takes place in the exhibition halls and on the open-air grounds of the New Munich Trade Fair Centre.

 

The event, organized by Messe München GmbH, will occupy some 5.8 million square feet of exhibition space, according to a news release from Messe München.

 

The most recent Bauma show in 2004 attracted 2,800 exhibitors from 47 nations. Half of the exhibitors were from nations other than Germany, according to Bauma’s organizers. At the Munich show in 2004, some 415,000 attendees were registered, with 29 percent of them coming from outside Germany.

 

According to Messe München, “93 percent of the exhibitors at Bauma 2004 reported contacts with international trade visitors at their stand.”
