The Flowery Branch, Georgia-based FAE Group’s land clearing department introduces its UML/S/EX/VT mulcher with fixed tooth rotor for excavators weighing between 20 and 25 tons and the ability to shred trunks with a maximum diameter of 30 centimeters.
The mulcher features bolted counter blades, a hydraulic opening system that full integrates into the frame and bolted on protection chains.
The opening system is designed to prevent penetration of dirt into the frame and damage to the cylinder. The forged and bolted on counter blades are designed for maximum durability and easy replacement.
The mulcher has a hydraulic motor with automatic variable torque, which increases efficiency and allows the user to perform complex operations on the roadside, along riverbanks and on steep hills, the company says.
