Nearly 100 customers and dealers of grinder manufacturer Morbark Inc. attended the company’s Demo Days at its headquarters in Winn, Mich.
Attendees toured the new, 40,000-square-foot-office facility as well as the manufacturing plant.
In addition, Morbark demonstrated eight pieces of equipment at an outdoor testing site, including four with particular applications for C&D recyclers: the 660 Wood Hog horizontal grinder, which is powered by a 1,000-hp engine and uses an 18-hammer pattern; a Predator low-speed, high-torque shredder with a 455-hp engine and a 350 loader with a 26-foot boom; a 1600 tub grinder, which is powered by a 1,200-hp engine and has a twin disc wet clutch with gear reduction drive; and a 3600 Wood Hog with a 455-hp engine.
