Missouri Company Offers Shingle Recycling

Hutchens Construction Co. now accepts asphalt shingles.

 

Hutchens Construction Co., Cassville, Mo., has announced that it is now accepting asphalt shingles at its plants in Purdy, Shell Knob and Eagle Rock, Mo., according to a report in the Cassville Democrat (Cassville, Mo.).

 

Individuals or businesses can dispose of asphalt shingles for a drop-off fee of $50 per ton. Roofers disposing of quantities that fit in a pickup truck or small trailer will pay a $30 fee, according to the report.

 

The company began offering shingle recycling services at three of its other locations last year and recycled more than 5,700 tons of shingles.
