Metso Minerals has announced that it will provide cone crushers to Codelco, the Chilean national mining company, for the expansion of its Andina Divisions’ Los Andes project in
The startup for the crushers is scheduled for the second quarter of 2009. The value of this order is approximately 7 million euros, and the order is included in Metso’s third quarter order backlog.
The order comprises a secondary cone crusher and two tertiary cone crushers. Once in full operation, the project will be able to process approximately 9.125 million metric tons of ore per year.
