Metso Recycling North America has expanded the production of rotors at its new Medina, Ohio-facility. The facility specializes in rebuilding of rotors produced by various manufacturers.
In this process, the old rotor is completely disassembled. The shaft goes through an extensive evaluation process to ensure that it meets Metso’s high-quality standards and will perform to the customer’s expectations.
Once the rotor has been evaluated, it is rebuilt to the customer’s exact specifications. The new facility has the capacity to produce three to four rotors per month.
