Metso introduces new N Series

The new N Series products include shears and balers, which are designed to be solidly engineered, robust, cost efficient, production and maintenance friendly. All equipment features remote access to expedite customer assistance when needed. The whole product range is backed by a full scope of services from Metso.

The new N Series consists of NIS inclined shears, NCS shear-baler-loggers, NLB lid balers and NTB triple-compression balers, which can be complemented with customized service agreements.

 

The NIS inclined shear is a gravity-feed shear that can accept long material and large bulky scrap; it is available with cutting forces from 600 to 1,250 tons. The NIS is a self-contained unit.
 

The NCS shear-baler-logger has a true clamshell charge-box design with high compression forces. The multiuse machine is available with cutting forces from 600 to 1,000 tons. The NCS is a self-contained unit that offers diesel drives and lifting jacks as options for transportable models.
 

The NLB lid baler is a compact baler for small to midsize metal baling requirements, producing No. 1 bales in 12- inch-by-12 inch, 16-inch-by-16-inch and 24-inch-by-24-inch dimensions.
 

The NTB triple-compression baler is a high-production baler that produces No. 1 bales from diverse feed materials. Bales can be sized at 12 inches by 12 inches and at 24 inches by 12 inches.
