According to the manufacturer, the R155 High Energy Screener is the industry’s first vibratory screener in the nominal 16-foot-by-5-foot class to be equipped with an upper screen that measures a true 16-feet-by-5-feet., coupled with a lower screen deck measuring 15-feet-by-5-feet. With an extra large top mounted hopper, a 125-hp Caterpillar engine plus the McCloskey High Energy Screenbox, the R155 is designed for processing the heaviest rock and quarry materials, which providing the versatility to produce finer materials with equal efficiency.
The R155 models can also serve as a compliment to the company’s new S-Series flatdeck screeners. The R155 can handle primary screening for feeding a crusher, for example, while the S190 or S130 models screen finished products. Like the S-Series screeners, the R155 is built around the High Energy Screenbox, which can run with a high-powered vibratory stroke of up to 10 mm at 950 RPM or 6 mm at 1,130 RPM. All three machines also have McCloskey’s new “service-friendly” engine compartment, which provides ample clear space for two maintenance technicians to stand and work, with no hydraulic hoses impeding their access to service points.
McCloskey plans to introduce the R155 High Energy Screener with working demonstrations at the Hillhead 2007 show in
