McCloskey International Names New Distributor

Southeast Crush & Screen will distributor McCloskey products in Kentucky and parts of Tennessee and Georgia.

Paschal McCloskey, founder and president of McCloskey International, Peterborough, Ontario, has announced that Southeast Crush & Screen (SEC&S), Columbia, Tenn., has signed on as the company’s official distributor for the areas of Eastern Tennessee, Kentucky and northern Georgia.

“We sat down with company President Paschal McCloskey and Vice-President John O’Neill at ConExpo in Las Vegas in April and sealed the deal,” says Chris Purcell, owner and president of Southeast Crush & Screen.  “We are excited to represent the McCloskey line of products and increase the company’s market share in this region.”

Southeast Crush & Screen has been supplying new and used sales and rental crushing and screening equipment to local customers out of its Columbia, Tennessee location since 2004. The company supplies equipment for a wide array of applications, including quarrying, waste management, landscaping, land development, mining, demolition and recycling, and the processing of aggregate, coal, topsoil, concrete, demolition, sand and gravel.

Purcell says that his company has experienced great success with McCloskey in the short time SEC&S has represented the product line. “Sales have included the McCloskey 621, S190 Triple Deck, S130 Triple Deck and 36-foot-by-80-inch diesel-powered stacker,” Purcell says. “There are many players in this business, but few have McCloskey’s attention to detail and innovative engineering features.”

Purcell says he has high praise for Paschal McCloskey and the company’s business practices. “Paschal McCloskey is a very personable and conscientious CEO who is directly involved in the day-to-day operations of the company. This positive ‘can do’ attitude permeates right through the entire McCloskey organization.”

“We welcome Chris Purcell and the rest of the staff at Southeast Crush & Screen into the McCloskey fold,” O’Neill says. “We look forward to many profitable years as their partner in Tennessee, Kentucky and northern Georgia.”
