McCloskey International Announces New Distributor

McCloskey International, a leading designer and manufacturer of innovative screening and crushing products, has announced that Kansas-based RoadBuilders Machinery and Supply Co. Inc. has become the official distributor of the McCloskey line for the states of Kansas and Nebraska and portions of Missouri.  

“Our acquisition of the McCloskey line of products will help us meet the niche needs of our customers with equipment that our existing lines can’t,” says Joel Johnson, RoadBuilders’ aggregate sales manager. “Having McCloskey trommels, screeners and conveyors in stock is definitely going to open up new markets for us, particularly in the aggregate area with new customers in landfill applications and government contracts.”

 Founded in 1985, RoadBuilders Machinery and Supply Co. Inc. operates out of five branches – three in Nebraska, one in Kansas, and it’s newest location, Mid-West Equipment, in Springfield, Mo. In addition to McCloskey, the firm represents more than 20 other manufacturers of construction and heavy equipment, including Sennebogen, Esco and Komatsu.

Johnson says that he has been well aware of McCloskey International and watched the company’s progress for the last few years. “The McCloskey designers have introduced some innovative products and changes that have really caught my eye and I thought our customers should have access to them. That’s what made our decision to become a McCloskey distributor so attractive.”

In addition to including the McCloskey line in its advertising and marketing, RoadBuilders hopes to be able to include some McCloskey machinery at an Open House scheduled for October at Mid-West Equipment, the company says.

Johnson says that RoadBuilders is presently reviewing its parts and service needs and capabilities before bringing in any McCloskey inventory.
