McCloskey International, based in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada, has added a Kazakhstan-based subsidiary of Automotive Management Services (AMS) to its global network of distributors of its screening and crushing equipment.

In September 2015, AMS will introduce McCloskey equipment to the Kazakhstan market at the Kazcomak and Mining World exhibition, also known as the 12th Kazakhstan International Road and Heavy Construction & Communal Machinery and Mining Exhibitions.

As both a distributor and management consultant of vehicles and equipment, AMS has customers in a broad range of sectors including government and defense, private and commercial construction and aid and development. AMS has worked with major organizational bodies, such as the United Nations and the U.S. Department of Defense, according to a McCloskey news release.

“[With] most of our customers working in construction, McCloskey is a superior product on [the] crushing and screening market [and] we believe that this complementary product is perfectly suited to support our existing customer list,” says David Stewart, vice president of operations for Australia and Central Asia at AMS.

AMS was established in Kosovo in 2001, and has since grown into a worldwide operation present on each continent. It is now headquartered in Dubai with offices in Europe, Central Asia, Australia, the Middle East, the United States and Africa. In 2014, Fleet & Equipment Solutions, a Kazakhstan-based subsidiary of AMS, was awarded as the official dealer for Volvo Construction Equipment within the country. Currently based in Almaty and Astana, Fleet & Equipment Solutions says it has plans to open several additional offices in Kazakhstan in 2016.

McCloskey International, founded in 1985, designs and makes crushers, impactors, trommel screeners, vibrating screeners, feeders, stacking conveyors and picking stations. McCloskey equipment is used by waste management and recycling operations, aggregate producers, topsoil producers, landscape contractors, composting facilities and mining and quarry operators.
