McCloskey International, a manufacturer of crushing and screening equipment for the mining, aggregate and waste management industries, based in Keene, Ontario, has announced the appointment of Ladd Blakely as its West Coast dealer manager.
Ladd has an extensive knowledge of the marketplace and the unique requirements of McCloskey’s dealers and customers, having served as store manager at the Billings, Montana, and Des Moines, Iowa, locations and then as field marketer for Titan Machinery in Des Moines. Most recently he served as store manager in Denver. He will continue the close working relationship McCloskey International has maintained with West Coast dealers and customers, as well as identify and recruit prospective dealers.
“Ladd’s experience and hands-on understanding of McCloskey equipment and the market allows him to foster key relationships, which will allow our sales organization to keep pace with the demand for McCloskey equipment in the region,” says John O’Neill, vice president sales and marketing for McCloskey International. “This is a great opportunity for him, and for our company, to contribute to the growth and success of dealers in the region.”
Prior to Titan Machinery, Ladd was an account executive for Mid-land Equipment, specializing in sales of heavy equipment including products from Case, Kawasaki and Bomag. Ladd will be based out of Denver and will be responsible for managing the company’s sales growth on the U.S. West Coast.
