Mascus Announces Online Marketplace

Marketplace for used equipment will target Hungary and Romania.

Alma Media Interactive Oy (AME) has signed a license agreement for Mascus, the European online marketplace for used equipment, heavy machinery and trucks, with media house Inform Media KFT (IM) in Hungary and Romania.

The launch of new Mascus service gives Hungarian and Romanian buyers a possibility to buy and sell used machines and trucks across Europe while using their own language. Mascus categories cover heavy machinery from used construction/plant machines, trucks, tractors, forklifts or grounds care machines.

For Hungarian and Romanian dealers Mascus offers a possibility to sell easily not only to Hungarian and Romanian buyers, but also to sell their used equipment stock to neighboring countries or even in the whole region of Eastern Europe. Mascus has local service in countries like Russia, Ukraine, Croatia, Slovenia and Serbia.

Europe is becoming more and more a single marketplace for heavy machinery. The combination of euro as a single currency and online marketplaces like Mascus will accelerate and strengthen this development. Mascus is achieving its strategy becoming the first Pan-European marketplace for used machines and trucks with strong local presence,” says Fredrik Larsson, director of Mascus.
