Masaba Inc., Vermillion, South Dakota, has announced that as of early July 2015 it has gone two years without a lost time workplace accident. The company celebrated the achievement with a catered lunch for employees in mid-July.
“We’ve always held employee safety as the highest priority at Masaba,” says Jerad Higman, the company’s president. “We want every Masaba team member to go home at night, and I’m extremely proud of them for this accomplishment.”
Masaba Inc. makes crushing, screening and bulk material handling equipment for the aggregate and mining sectors, with additional markets served including agriculture, ports and inland waterways, power plants, pulp and paper, wood chips and specialty minerals.
