California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has appointed Margo Reid Brown to the California Integrated Waste Management Board, bringing the board to full strength (six members) for the first time in nearly a year.
Brown, who has served both Schwarzenegger and former Gov. Pete Wilson, as scheduling director, has no previous experience in solid waste or recycling issues.
Brown, 42, was previously the founder and president of Capitol Ideas Development Corp. from 2002 to 2004, president of the Junior League of Sacramento from 1999 to 2000 and director of scheduling for Gov. Pete Wilson from 1991 to 1999.
