Christian Lapoint has been appointed director of sales and marketing at Machinex Industries Inc., Plessisville, Quebec.
Prior to joining Machinex, Lapointe was vice president of sales and marketing at Quebec-based Labrie Ltd.
Machinex Industries is a manufacturer of recycling and processing equipment for municipal solid waste and construction and demolition material.
