Cherry Companies, the Houston-based group of recycling and demolition companies, has named Matthew R. Ling as its chief counsel.
Previously, Ling was an associate at Mansour & Associates, Houston, and also worked as a clerk in both the Harris County (Texas) District Attorney’s Office and the O’Quinn Law Firm, also in Houston.
LIng earned his law degree from South Texas College of Law with an emphasis on international law. He also earned a bachelor of arts degree in history and political science from Texas A&M University.
Cherry Companies, founded in 1952, specializes in demolition and the recycling of more than a million tons of concrete and asphalt and thousands of tons of steel per year. Cherry Companies also recycles asphalt shingles and produces more than a million tons of stabilized materials annually in the Houston area.
