Liebherr Announces Staff Appointments

Liebherr Construction Equipment Co., Newport News, Va., has announced the appointment of Timothy Hyland to the sales team where he will assume the responsibility of district manager.

Hyland has held several key positions in the construction industry, including his most recent position as a regional sales manager for Dynapac. Hyland will develop sales objectives, provide training on Liebherr products, coordinate marketing strategies and provide general dealer support. Hyland resides in Williamsburg, Va., and will be based at Liebherr’s headquarters in Newport News.

Gerald Halsey has also joined Liebherr as a factory service representative. Halsey will assist Liebherr dealers, in-house and field personnel with technical issues and special projects.

Halsey has held multiple positions with Liebherr, from quality inspector, to his most recent position as large machine inspector with the Liebherr Mining Division. He has more than 24 years of experience with Liebherr and will be based out of the Newport News, Va., headquarters.
