Liebherr adds dealer in the West

Bejac Corp. will handle sales and service in California and Arizona markets.

Liebherr Construction Equipment Co., based in Newport News, Virginia, has expanded its distribution footprint with a new partnership with the Bejac Corp.

Bejac Corp., based in Placentia, California, will be responsible for dealer sales and service of Liebherr’s full line of earthmoving and material handling equipment. In addition to the Placentia location, Bejac has dealerships in Sacramento, Fresno, Redding, San Francisco/Oakland and San Diego, California, as well as in Phoenix.

Founded in the 1970s, Bejac Corp. has since expanded and diversified in various markets, including demolition, forestry, scrap and recycling.

“I am extremely excited for the new partnership with Liebherr,” says Ron Barlet, president of the Bejac Corp. “I believe Liebherr’s strategies and goals are in sync with those of Bejac and will allow us to continue to build the company in the direction that provides even better support to our customers, and very importantly, to better equip our employees with the training and tools we need to further develop everyone in our organization.”

Liebherr’s Regional Business Manager Robert Klima will be working closely with each of Bejac’s seven locations to help them introduce the Liebherr line to its extensive customer base, the company says.

“We are delighted to welcome the Bejac team to the Liebherr group,” says Peter Mayr, president of Liebherr Construction Equipment Co. “The new partnership with Bejac will allow us to further expand our distribution in the west region and deliver excellent support for our new customers; leveraging both companies’ product expertise and commitment to provide tailored solutions.”
