More than 40 soil remediation and construction companies attended classroom and demonstration sessions at the Leslie Equipment Company (LED) training facility in Cross Lanes, W.V., in mid-July.
The seminar commenced with a discussion of the latest technology in soil solidification led by Ace Wise, of CMS Engineering, followed by a discussion focusing on mass stabilization using the PM/PF manufactured by ALLU, led by Mardi Ohanessian, president of ALLU Group.
Attendees to the seminar were treated to a complimentary luncheon and field demonstrations featuring products by ALLU, Vacuworx and Allied Construction. The demonstration site was full each afternoon, as customers waited to view and operate the new products offered by LEC, according to Todd Perinne, LEC vice president of product support.
“I’ve been to a lot of demo shows over the years, but this was one of the best [with] new information and professionally done,” says Cork Peterson, president of Peterson Contracting, Reinbeck, Iowa.
Leslie Equipment is one of the largest ALLU dealers in North America, supporting sales, rentals, parts, and service, for all their products, according to the company.
