Liebherr Construction Equipment Co., a construction equipment manufacturing firm headquartered in Newport News, Va., has announced that Michael Balella has joined the company as manager – parts marketing, a newly created position. In his role, Balella will work with the company’s dealer organization to enhance opportunities to increase sales and improve customer service for after-market repair parts.
Duane Wilder, president of Liebherr Construction, says, “We conducted a national search to find someone that met our requirement for experience from both the manufacturer and customer perspective. Mike’s background in market development and parts sales with a competitor who is an international manufacturer, coupled with his earlier rental and small contractor experience, will prepare him for this new role.”
Bob Bollinger, Liebherr’s parts manager will continue in his present role with responsibility for inventory levels and order fulfillment.
