Lafarge North America Inc., Toronto, has announced that Eric C. Olsen has been promoted to the position of executive vice president and chief financial officer, according to a release from the company.
Olsen succeeds former CFO Larry Waisanen, who retired at the end of 2004.
Olsen has been with Lafarge since 1999 and he has served as senior vice president of strategy and development and then as president of Lafarge’s northeast cement operations.
Lafarge North America is a supplier of construction materials such as cement, ready-mixed concrete, gypsum wallboard, aggregates and asphalt.
