This year’s Safety/Management Training Summit begins on Oct. 17 with a demolition-specific OSHA 10-Hour Training Certification program, offered in both English and Spanish.
During the following two days, safety and management topics to be covered include: insurance; the multi/bilingual workforce; man lift and forklift safety; the legal aspects of safety; and workers’ compensation. Other subjects to be addressed include generational issues when providing safety training, fall protection, project site management and OSHA regulations. Sessions on Oct. 18 and 19 will be in English only.
The demolition-specific OSHA 10-Hour Training Certification is taught by certified instructors and is required by many of the industry’s larger clients, according to Michael R.
