The KPI-JCI subsidiary of Astec Industries has set up a Web site at www.beRAPready.com with what it says is one goal in mind: to help contractors and pavement suppliers understand the benefits of using recycled asphalt pavement (RAP) in their projects.
“We wanted to give companies a comprehensive site dedicated to the benefits of using RAP in their projects,” says Lisa Carson, marketing manager at KPI-JCI, based in Yankton, S.D. “This site was built to answer all the questions someone might have about the benefits of being able to produce RAP.”
Among the site’s features:
· a cost-savings calculator to help determine a ballpark figure on how much money using RAP can save
· case studies
· technical papers
· frequently asked questions.
· a dealer locator to find the nearest RAP expert.
According to Carlson, there is also a hyperlink to request a meeting with a RAP expert available on almost every page, providing site visitors opportunity to have a RAP expert visit or speak at their location.
