The equipment company Komptech USA, based in Westminster, Col., will be exhibiting its recycling equipment at the upcoming ConExpo-Con/Agg 2011 show in Las Vegas, March 22-26.
The decision to exhibit at the show is part of an expansion in the company’s focus, according to a Komptech release. Previously, the company focused primarily on the waste wood, household waste and composting markets. However, Komptech’s release notes that its machines are already used by many contractors, making it a logical step for Komptech to present at the ConExpo show.
Johannes Pohl, president of Komptech USA, says the company’s waste shredding and sorting technology is used for construction waste recycling and waste-to-energy. “These areas are growing rapidly and more and more, we’re hearing that construction waste recycling is becoming a real competitive factor. The key is to process it economically. The fuel-saving machines we’ll be showing at ConExpo can help contractors turn waste into a revenue stream.”
