Komptech USA Inc., headquartered in Westminster, Colo., has added Powerscreen Texas to its dealer network. Powerscreen Texas, established in 1978, is located in La Grange, Texas. Since 1966, Powerscreen has been manufacturing mobile screening, crushing and washing equipment. Powerscreen Texas is the authorized dealer for Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas and Oklahoma for both Powerscreen and Komptech. There are five Powerscreen dealers in Komptech USA’s sales network.
Todd Dunderdale, Komptech USA’s sales and marketing director, says, “Powerscreen Texas is a great fit for Komptech in a fast-growing market. We now can offer our customers service, parts and support that is up to the Komptech standard. We have been very successful with our other Powerscreen Partners in other parts of the country and fully expect to duplicate this success with Powerscreen Texas.”
Komptech also announced that it is boosting its own parts stock supply, while helping its dealers with their parts operations.
Tony Pierce, Komptech’s parts manager, says the goal of the expansion is to “make sure everybody is well stocked so dealers can support customers smoothly.”
To accomplish this, Pierce will visit dealers over the course of the year, training specialists on the ins and outs of Komptech’s parts service and finding out from them what Komptech can do to make their jobs easier.
The company also is undertaking an expansion of its central parts warehouse in Denver, doubling the space.
