From debris movement to material loading, Komatsu’s WA475-11 and WA485-11-wheel loaders are ready for the demands of many applications, especially demolition and recycling. Both models combine enhanced horsepower with fuel-efficient design and rugged components that stand up to the rigors of harsh jobsite conditions.

The WA485-11 delivers 21 percent more engine power, a 13 percent faster climb rate and 12 percent better fuel economy compared to the WA480-8. The WA475-11 offers similar advantages with up to 40 percent faster hill-climbing performance. Both use Komatsu’s Hydrostatic Mechanical Transmission (KHMT), which provides responsive power while reducing operator effort and fuel costs.

Purpose-built yard loader configurations include heavy-duty buckets, added counterweight, low-profile tires and reinforced linkages — ideal for dense, recycled materials and uneven terrain. For safer operation in dynamic conditions, both models come standard with rear object detection, bright LED lighting and wide-angle visibility from the cab.

Waste-specific versions are also available with additional guarding and shielding that help protect key machine components and the operator, as well as more robust cab filtration. Solid tire options fit different customer applications.

Operators benefit from Komatsu’s focus on comfort and control. Inside the cab, a four-pillar design provides excellent visibility, while the angle-feedback joystick steering and independent work control help reduce fatigue during long shifts.

From clearing demolition zones to stockpiling and truck loading, the WA475-11 and WA485-11 deliver the muscle, agility and reliability needed to stay productive all day long. Backed by Komatsu’s trusted service and parts support, these loaders are built to keep your operations moving forward.
