Recycling-focused demolition requires more than brute force — it takes precision, reach and adaptability. Komatsu demolition excavators are engineered to help contractors dismantle structures methodically, sort and process materials efficiently and maximize recovery from each jobsite.

The PC490HRD-11 is built for high-reach applications, offering up to 104 feet of reach, equipped with the Komatsu K100 boom-change system. Operators can switch boom configurations from inside the cab in minutes—ideal for transitioning between structure teardown and ground-level material handling.

To support a range of demolition tasks, Komatsu also offers straight-boom models — PC290LC-11, PC360LC-11 and PC490LC-11—optimized for strength, reach and attachment versatility. With up to 15 programmable hydraulic presets, operators can quickly switch between hammers, crushers, grapples and other tools.

Every machine in the lineup includes reinforced guarding, protected hydraulics and the KomVision 360-degree camera system for increased visibility and situational awareness. Optional Lehnhoff quick couplers and Montabert attachments enhance flexibility, allowing crews to adapt in real time to different material types and tasks.

Komatsu demolition excavators are designed to help reduce manual labor, improve material separation and streamline hauling and loading—turning what could be costly site work into a more efficient, more profitable process.
