Komar Industries Inc., a Groveport, Ohio-based manufacturer of a full range of shredding and compaction equipment, has hired Susan Gaunce as its human resources coordinator. In her new position, Gaunce will focus on recruiting, onboarding, policies and procedures, payroll and benefits for Komar.

She brings 16 years of human resources experience, having worked at Leaderpromos.com, Veeda Clinical Resources and Neoprobe Corp. Gaunce also served as the commissioner for the Clintonville Area Commission for 10 years, as well as a committee member with the Columbus City Schools for five years.
Gaunce says, “I am excited to be a member of Komar Industries’ team and part of an industry that is an important player in stemming the environmental impact of industrial waste.”
Deb Koenig, Komar chief financial officer, adds, “Komar is growing, and we are fortunate to have someone of Susan’s knowledge and background to recruit and motivate staff. Her personality is an ideal fit to lead our human resources department.”
Gaunce holds a Bachelor of Science in psychology from The Ohio State University.
Komar Industries says it has more than 130 U.S. and foreign patents for innovative design and a complete manufacturing facility.
