Mike Johnson will assume the responsibilities of manager of sales and marketing for both Kolberg-Pioneer Inc. and Johnson Crushers International Inc.(JCI). Johnson began his career in the Kolberg-Pioneer sales department in 1989 and has held a number of positions in the company, including inside sales manager, dealer development manager and fields sales manager.
When the sales efforts of Kolberg-Pioneer and JCI were joined in 2000, Johnson was named sales manager for both companies.
In addition, Tom Eggers will assume the responsibilities of product development manager for both Kolberg-Pioneer and JCI. His responsibilities include market development, product development and national promotion of the companies’ products.
Eggers brings 25 yeas of engineering and marketing experience within the industrial and construction industries to the position.
Kolbert-Pioneer and JCI are subsidiaries of Astec Industries, headquartered in Chattanooga, Tenn. The company manufactures specialized equipment for building and restoring the world’s infrastructure.
Kolberg-Pioneer is headquartered in Yankton, S.D. and JCI is headquartered in Eugene, Ore.
