Kobelco Construction Machinery USA, Houston, has appointed Randy Hall national sales manager. Hall has more than 35 years of sales experience in the equipment industry. According to Kobelco, he has demonstrated a proven track record in building and managing key relationships with both equipment dealerships and national accounts. Most recently, Hall spearheaded Kobelco’s efforts in establishing preferred crawler excavator supplier agreements with national accounts.
In his new role, Hall will manage Kobelco’s team of territory managers covering the United States and Canada, directing all field sales efforts, including assisting in dealer forecasting and inventory suggestions, delivery estimates, preparing price quotes and dealer training, all while managing national accounts.
“I am excited to take on this enhanced role with Kobelco,” states Hall. “Kobelco excavators have long been well regarded in this industry, and the management team of Kobelco Construction Machinery USA has built a top-notch sales staff and dealer network over the past year. Starting this role with the commitment of such a strong team will help continue the positive momentum the brand has built since its relaunch last April.”
“Without question, Randy will continue to be an extremely valuable asset to our team,” says Ron Hargrave, vice president of operations, Kobelco Construction Machinery USA. “The respect he has in the industry for his work ethic and dedication to service will be instrumental to growing our market share in the coming years.”
