Kobelco Construction Machinery USA, Houston, has hired Ernest Alvarado to support its dealers and excavators in the field. Alvarado has 29 years of experience in the performance testing, operation, fabrication, servicing, repair and dealer support and training of heavy equipment. Additionally, Alvarado has seven years of experience with Kobelco, having been a service technician with the company.
In his new role, Alvarado will be responsible for providing Kobelco’s dealer network with product support, service and training on the company’s full line of excavators in the 3,000 pound to 180,000 pound classes.
“Ernest has a broad background in many aspects of the construction machinery field. He will be instrumental in supporting our dealer and end-user customers, much as he was 10 years ago,” says George Lumpkins, Kobelco’s product marketing manager. “Ernest will help Kobelco Construction Machinery USA deliver on its promise of total customer satisfaction by providing industry leading customer service.”
