German attachments manufacturer Kinshofer and Dutch company Demarec have announced plans to merge. Under the terms of the agreement, Kinshofer has acquired 100 percent of Demarec shares.
For more than 35 years, Kinshofer, which has a North American headquarters in Burlington, Ontario, Canada, has been a manufacturer of attachments for truck cranes and excavators. The acquisition of Demarec has added a full line of demolition tools to Kinshofer’s excavator line, including multi-quick processors, pulverizers and demolition grabs.
Both companies will work on the integration of Demarec into the Kinshofer Group. Ruud de Gier and Marcel Vening will remain general manager of Demarec, but will also assume positions within the Kinshofer Group.
