Residents of Warren County, Ky., have plans to ask the County Board of Adjustments to reject a conditional use permit application for a construction and demolition landfill, according to a report in the Bowling Green Daily News (Bowling Green, Ky.).
Contractors Waste Services has applied for the permit on a 17-acre property in north Warren County, which is currently zoned for agriculture. Residents have expressed concerns over increased truck traffic and water contamination, according to the report.
