Karl Schmidt Announces Partnerships

Karl W. Schmidt & Associates Inc. (KWS), Commerce City, Colo., has announced its new sales and service partnership with Redwave, a division of Austria-based BT-Wolfgang Binder GmbH, and Redox Technologies of The Netherlands.

Redwave (www.redwave.at) is a leader in optical material sorting technology, specializing in the optical separation of glass, paper/fiber and plastics.

Redox Technologies (www.redox.nl) has developed sorting system technology for material recovery facilities and has capabilities in construction and demolition debris, municipal solid waste, gypsum recycling, dust suppression, grey water treatment systems and concrete reclamation systems, among other areas.

According to a press release from KWS, the partnership with Redwave will allow the company “to provide complete sorting systems with the very latest in optical sorting technologies with the assurance that through partnership we can provide the very best options for equipment to our customers.”

KWS says that by partnering with Redox, “we will be able to deliver complete sorting lines” that “will produce clean and marketable fractions of wood, metals, plastics, refuse derived fuels, soil and recycled aggregates.”
