The recycling equipment company J.V. Manufacturing, based in Springdale, Ark., has received the 2011 Quality Achievement Award. The award was given during the 17th Annual Awards Celebration in Arkansas. According to J.V. Manufacturing, the award represents the achievement of another milestone in the company’s quest to improve the performance of its business.
Arkansas Gov. Mike Beebe presented the award to J.V. Manufacturing.
“We are honored to receive the award,” Chris Weiser, J.V. Manufacturing president and CEO, says. “It serves as a formal recognition for our ongoing commitment to the continuous improvement of our business processes and our focus on improved business results.”
The company says it submitted a business summary describing its goals, objectives, business processes and business results. A team of independent, volunteer examiners assessed the submission and followed up with a two-day site visit.
