A Macomb County (Michigan) Circuit Court judge has issued a temporary restraining order against a New Haven, Mich.-based company’s concrete crushing operations in Chesterfield Township, Mich., according to a report in the Macomb Daily (Mount Clemens, Mich.).
The order prohibits Pamar Enterprises from crushing concrete or processing any materials until May 25, according to the report. The order does not forbid the company from loading existing materials for transport, however.
Since the company sought a special use permit in March from the township planning commission, some neighboring residents have voiced opposition because of the facility’s close proximity to a local elementary school.
