John Deere Announces Management Changes

Equipment company shuffles its senior management team.

 

James A. Israel has been appointed to president of John Deere Credit. He has been vice president for marketing and product support for John Deere agricultural equipment in Europe, Africa and the Middle East and has been with the company since 1979.

 

Michael J. Mack Jr. has been appointed to the position of senior vice president and chief financial officer. He has been with Deere since 1986, most recently serving as vice president and treasurer.

 

David C. Everitt has been appointed president, agricultural division North America, Australia, Asia and global tractor and implement sourcing. He has been president of Deere’s agricultural operations in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. He started with the company in 1975.

 

Nathan J. Jones has been appointed president of the worldwide commercial and consumer equipment division. He has served Deere as chief financial officer for eight years.

 

H.J. Markley has been appointed president of the agricultural equipment division for Europe, Africa and South America and global harvesting equipment sourcing. He joined the company in 1974 and has been president of agricultural operations in North America, Australia and Asia.

 

The new senior management assignments have been made following the planned retirements of Deere’s team. John J. Jenkins will retire from his position as president of the worldwide commercial and consumer equipment division and Jon D. Volkert will retire from his position as president of John Deere Credit.
