James River Equipment has joined as an authorized dealer for Morbark industrial equipment in all of Virginia and North Carolina and two counties in South Carolina.
In business for over 30 years, James River Equipment has 25 locations throughout Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina. The company sells and services a full range of equipment in many industries including construction, forestry, paving, mining, agricultural, and consumer and commercial lawn care.
“It’s extremely important for Morbark to identify partners that share the same goals and have the ability to provide our customers with first class sales, service and support. We’ve found that in James River Equipment,” says John Foote, Morbark’s VP of sales and marketing.
“James River Equipment is proud to have developed a partnership with Morbark, and we look forward to a long and successful relationship. Their product line is strong and our team is enthusiastic about representing the brand,” adds Mark Romer, president of James River Equipment.
In addition to the existing sales staff at James River Equipment, Rodney Waller and Danny Westmoreland, former sales representatives for Morbark, will be joining the team to represent the Morbark product line in James River Equipment’s territory.
“Product support has always been an important part of our business at James River Equipment. In addition to the Morbark sales representatives that transitioned over, we found it very important to retain product expertise with former Morbark reps Jaime Perkins and Parker Barnes who specialize in Morbark parts and service, respectively,” commented John Shearer, Vice President of Product Support for James River Equipment.
