Iron Bull Manufacturing, a manufacturer of standard scrap and waste hoppers based in Marshall, Indiana, has introduced construction hoppers for the collection and disposal of construction materials.
The purpose-built hoppers include forklift pockets for ease of transportation and are suited for wood waste, rebar, concrete blocks, drywall and other waste generated on construction sites.
Several models are available, depending upon the carriers available on site. The company says the self-dumping models, also called “forklift dumpster” or “telehandler trash hoppers” provide easy storage, transfer and dumping of materials on the jobsite.
The hoppers are available in capacities from 0.5 to 12 yards, or 1,000-7,000 pounds. The bottom-drop hoppers, in single or double door configurations, maximize the available space for waste collection and are available in capacities of 1,000 pounds and up. The bottom drop functionality makes it ideal for gravel, sand and other loose material.
Iron Bull says skid steer dump hoppers allow for quick attachment to skid steer couplers, making them ideal for any jobsite where skid steers are used. The pickup truck and trailer hoppers offer a cost-effective alternative to renting a dumpster for smaller construction sites. Push-n-dump or dump-from-seat is available for all models, allowing operators to quickly dump from the safety of the forklift seat.
In addition to construction hoppers, Iron Bull manufactures a wide range of standard and custom hoppers to suit scrap-handling needs.
