Valley View, Ohio-based concrete crushing and screening equipment maker IRock Crushers has promoted Howard Malhado to director of product support.

“I’m very excited about this opportunity,” Malhado says. “I’m dedicated to the success of this organization and have a fresh vision for product support initiatives that I’m eager to implement.”

Malhado has more than a decade of on-site technical and equipment troubleshooting experience and offers “a robust skill set and a real talent for productive collaboration.”

In his new role, Malhado will lead, direct and develop product support and after-market services for dealers and end users, says the equipment company.

"Engaging cross functionally supporting and liaising with the operations, product development and sales departments to further enhance overall customer service, satisfaction, safety and dealer/direct customer profitability” will be part of Malhado’s work, the company says.

Malhado will lead departmental initiatives and oversee a team of product support managers and specialists tasked with meeting corporate objectives that will further enhance IRock’s overall growth and profitability.

Along with those responsibilities, IRock says Malhado also will be asked to “capture the ‘voice of the customer,’ oversee the collection of field data for existing products and conduct market research to substantiate product development initiatives.”

“Howard’s results-oriented approach, coupled with his extensive in-field technical knowledge, strong mechanical aptitude and unique ability to engage effectively with decision makers and frontline teams, provides him a terrific foundation for success in his new leadership role,” says Chris Larson, IRock’s general manager.
