The IOA has announced that it has begun an exclusive inland marine program for companies in the waste, recycling and demolition fields. This program is specific to these industries and is a partnership with an “A+; XV A.M. Best Rated and Admitted Carrier.” Underwriting will be done out of the IOA corporate office. The program is available in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and Canada. Canada exposures will require IOA to submit to the carrier for approval. The minimum premium for this program is $2,500.
Program highlights and enhancements, according to IOA include:
- Replacement cost on items 3-years-old or newer, ACV if over 3-years-old;
- Miscellaneous unscheduled equipment at $25,000 limit automatically included;
- Includes coverage for flood, earthquake/earth movement, wind and hail;
- No coinsurance
- Leased/rented/borrowed contractor’s equipment – up to $500,000 limit of insurance
- Credit of (5%) for Lo Jack, RFI Tags or other tracking software/devices
- Newly acquired contractor’s equipment - as per contractors equipment form
- Employees tools – as per contractors equipment form; and
- Many more throw-in coverage terms.
