InterSpec to preview InfoWare software at CSI Construct 2015

Software will provide up-to-date listings of current and on-going projects for building product manufacturers.

InterSpec Inc., a provider of integrated construction specification software based in South Portland, Maine, has announced it will be introduce its new proprietary InfoWare program at CSI Construct 2015, Sept. 25-Oct. 3 in St. Louis.

InfoWare is designed to enable building product manufacturers (BPMs) to get up-to-date listings of current and on-going projects within their sphere or product lines during the design phase, typically six months to three years before the project goes to bid. Most products available today provide an abbreviated version of this information post-bid only.

"This product will benefit both the building product manufacturer and the specification writer," says Gilles Letourneau, president and CEO of InterSpec Inc. "The BPM will be able to get their best products in front of the specification writer at the exact moment the specifier is working on that area of the specification document, and the specifier can be confident that they have the most current product information available."

Project listings do not rely on human reports but are automated, giving a more complete list of projects than is currently available in the marketplace. Reporting is robust, and data can be exported and downloaded in CSV, PDF or XML formats. Numerous search options, the ability to save searches per login, and custom dashboards are also included.

The program is currently in Beta testing and InterSpec is actively seeking additional Beta users. InfoWare will launch broadly in late November.
