Ingersoll Rand has introduced the XHP1170FCAT air compressor, and the company says it took customer feedback seriously in the product’s design.
The NHP1170FCAT is less than 13 feet in length. The previous model was 15 feet, 4 inches. According to a news release from the manufacturer, customers asked that the air compressor be shorter, and Ingersoll Rand responded by fitting the air compressor into a smaller footprint without decreasing the machine’s power.
The more compact size provides additional space on a trailer for other equipment and enables customers to save money on logistics in transporting the air compressor and using it on a jobsite.
Ingersoll Rand is also providing enhanced factory-installed options with the revised unit, which include a spark arrestor, battery, day fuel tank and frame isolators.
The XHP1170FCAT provides a free air delivery of 1,170 cubic feet per minute.
