Ingenium, Escondido, California, announced Dec. 2 that it has acquired San Jose, California-based WSR Environmental and Safety Management (WSR).
Ingenium provides a range of waste management services, specializing in packaging, transportation, recycling and disposal of hazardous, nonhazardous, biological, universal and radioactive waste.
By acquiring WSR, Ingenium adds environmental health and safety (EH&S) consulting services to its portfolio, including safety planning, program management, training, environmental permits, and interfacing with regulatory agencies. According to the company, these additional services will enable Ingenium to provide more comprehensive waste management and environmental, health and safety compliance offerings to its clients.
